A great trip, well planned with good accommodation and good food, would recommend Tour1 every time for Harley riders. [D-Day Landings tour, 2024].Steve Crouch, Cumbia, UK.
The trip was excellent from beginning to end. We met some great like minded riders. The leader and tail rider were knowledgeable and made the experience come alive with information and the variety of the stops. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants a taste of the D-Day invasion. We enjoyed it so much we booked another tour within 48 hours of being home. [D-Day Landings tour, 2024].Aland Hudson, London, UK
I had a terrific trip with Tour!, well organised, great assortment of riding roads, good accommodation and food available to match. I will be going with them again! [Harley-Davidson HOG Rally, Senigallia, 2024]. Nick Gray, West Midland, UK
We had another fantastic adventure with Tour1. The tour to Senigallia was outstanding and this was our 5th tour with them. The hotels, food were very good, the people on the tour were extremely friendly and the places that we visited were unbelievable. Tour 1 exceed themselves yet again. I would not hesitate to recommend Tour1. [Harley-Davidson HOG Rally, Senigallia, 2024]. Debbie Tomes, Surrey, UK
Getting a Harley and Touring with you and your team has been one of the best things ever for me. ;Various tours]. Neil Painter, Kent, UK
Without a doubt in my 54 years, this was the most wonderful vacation I have ever experienced! This tour exceeded my expectations on all accounts. The riding and routes were outstanding. The small group format allowed for all levels to enjoy the roads and the scenery at their pace. The ride book, and details put into this tour are incredible. There is something to be said for not having to worry about anything, and that is priceless. The selection and countries we got to ride were handpicked from a rider, and you can tell at every curve. The entire route was so picturesque, it was almost hard to believe. Both the accommodations and food were spectacular. The hotels were a great representation for the country we were in that day. We were so amazed at each cafe and restaurant, eating local cuisines. Some of the best meals I have experienced traveling. Gordy and Mike, our guide and back marker were fantastic, and very helpful for the group. We all had such a great time together. We collectively made a lot of friends on this trip, and I plan to stay connected and ride together in the future. Every day I could not wait to wake up and go ride, and to see what amazing scenery and roads were on deck for the day. To sum up my experience. It was the best time I have ever had. I have already booked my next Tour 1 trip for next year! [Faaker See tour, 2023]. Leo Massaro, Nevada, USA
This was our second trip with Tour1 and having never been to Faaker See, decided to join this tour and WOW we did not regret it. What amazing roads and scenery, it was so breathtaking. We are definitely adding some of theses roads and passes to our favourite places (just makes us want to do it all over again). Thank you to Tour1, Gordon and Michael, everything was so well organised from the hotels we stayed in, to the roads we rode even stopping for photos on the way and all the lovely people on the trip who made it so much fun. We can’t wait for the next trip with Tour1 next year. [Faaker See tour, 2023]. Richard and Kathryn Kitchen, Cambridgeshire, UK
The UK’s leading Harley-Davidson tour operator. [Various tours]. Lee Blissett, Essex, UK.
It’s definitely been the best guided tour I’ve been on and the roads we used I wouldn’t have known even existed. The bonus was meeting such lovely people who were also genuine kind & funny. I can’t stress enough the effort & time and the smooth operation of Tour1 for putting together this fabulous tour. Well worth every penny. Thank you again. [Faaker See tour, 2023]. Russ Kells, East Sussex, UK.
Absolutely brilliant tour Gary, you make it look easy, but anyone who has ever organised anything will know how much hard work goes into it. A big shout out for John, who minds us all from the back, thanks John, you're a legend. [Budapest tour, 2023]. Brendan Palmer, Dublin, Ireland.
Thank you to each and every one of you who made it such a great trip. Special thanks to Gary, John Vicki and Matt for all their hard work. We are looking forward to the next trip with tour1, thanks again. [Budapest tour, 2023]. Richard and Kathryn Kitchen, Cambridgeshire, UK.

Thank you for such a well-organised tour with a great tour leader and back-marker. It is by far the best I’ve had. [Vosges Mountains tour, 2023]. Paul Watts, Kent, UK.
If there is one thing in life that you need to do it is to go on a Tour 1 trip with Gary. I have been on 3 of his trips and each time have experienced something so wonderful that you will remember it for the rest of your life. The organisation is fantastic from the very beginning when you click to join a tour, Gary will tell you everything you need to know - the information you get from him is second to none. The tours are immaculately planned and brilliantly executed. Life is too short, if you love biking just do it you will never regret it. [Various tours]. Peter Killian, London, UK.
We would like to thank the team at Tour1 for an absolutely fantastic tour of New Zealand South Island. The tour was well designed and expertly executed, each days riding was just the right amount allowing for breaks and photo opportunities. Gary and team (Emma, Vanessa and Ali) expertly made sure everything and everyone stayed on track. New Zealand South Island was stunning, the roads were good, well maintained and very little traffic, the bikes were well maintained and didn’t let anyone down. The accommodation was excellent, just the right balance of good quality without being over the top and the company was great fun. We would love to do it all again. [New Zealand Tour 2023]. Steve and Viv Wheatland, Lancashire, UK.
I felt on top of the world! That is what Tour1 and Gary delivers at every tour I have been on, in the last 10 years. Everything is planned so well, best roads, best hotels, with like minded people … best everything really! The New Zealand tour was no exception, I enjoyed every mile, a wonderful experience away from home and feeling so safe. Thank you Gary, I had a blast and so much laughter. Cathy [New Zealand Tour 2023]. Cathy Robert, London, UK.
Fabulous just fabulous. Thanks Gary for the most spectacular tour of NZ South Island! We’ll most certainly be booking another tour with you soon. [New Zealand Tour 2023]. Melanie Church, Wiltshire, UK.
Always a fantastic experience, meticulously planned and executed. It's a pleasure to ride with Gary and the team, I have done two tours now and already signed up for a third. It's the highlight of my biking year! [Tour of Ireland, 2022]. Neil Painter, Kent, UK.
Just wanted to say what an absolutely wonderful time I had on the tour. Your organisation, friendly demeanour and attention to detail was impeccable. I couldn’t have wished for a better group of people to share this experience with and the memories and laughter will last a lifetime. The routes, venues, restaurants and accommodation were superb. Special mention to Gary and Elaine for keeping us together and safe. [D-Day Landings Tour 2022]. Alun Burnett, North Lincolnshire, UK.
Thanks for a fantastic holiday, totally enjoyed it, looking forward to NZ now. [Portoroz 2022]. Debbie Tomes, London, UK.
My son & I have just returned from a fantastic week on the 2022 Black Forest tour. This was our 3rd trip with Tour1 & it lived up to our expectations, being incredibly well planned and expertly executed. Around 1500 miles in total on some of the best roads in France, Belgium, Luxembourg & Germany. A comfortable pace with plenty of opportunity to stretch the legs of our Road Glide & well timed refreshment stops. Stunning scenery, great company, bags of laughs & countless memories! Thank you Gary & Steve. [Black Forest tour, 2022]. Lee and Harry Blissett, Essex, UK
Absolutely fantastic trip with Tour 1 through the Black Forest (via France, Belgium and Luxemburg). Met some amazing people and travelled some great roads. The craic was great, with laughter every night. Glad to have made some new friends and lasting memories. Recommend a Tour 1 tour to anyone thinking of going: you see lots of places and roads you wouldn’t find alone: plus the great company. [Black Forest tour, 2022]. Chris and Judith Gray, Northern Ireland
What a wonderful trip. This was the first tour I did in Europe on my own bike and Tour1 did not disappoint. The route Gary chose was brilliant. Loved the little roads along the canal riding through some picturous little villages. Gary and Elaine were incredibly supportive and looked after us all very well. Will definitely book another trip with Tour1. [Bubbles and Chocolate tour to Amsterdam, 2022]. Charmaine Till, Oxfordshire, UK
The Tour 1 guided trip to the Emerald Isle was the perfect combination of riding, viewing the sights and the social fun of riding in a group. Gary led a varied group of riders in a way that made every day enjoyable and rewarding. The choice of hotels and places to eat was ’spot-on’. Considering the complexity of bringing together a group of riders, their bikes and their holiday hopes I have nothing but praise for Gary and his Tour 1 team. [Tour of Ireland, 2022]. John Targett, Essex, UK
This was our first trip with Tour 1, however it most certainly won't be our last. Gary and the team plan and prepare every element of the tour, making it truly a stress free experience. The accommodation is always lovely, lunch stops are expecting you, and Gary always knows the best places to stop for THAT photo - the one that takes your breath away! A truly wonderful experience that highlights the joy and freedom on offer from a motorcycle tour. Roll on the next one! [Portoroz HOG Rally tour, 2022]. Vicki Green, Nottinghamshire, UK
This was my first ever trip to Ireland and it was fantastic. I must come back. [Tour of Ireland, 2022]. John Green, Berkshire, UK
Words can't describe what an amazing experience this has been. The amazing roads that we've ridden, places and scenery so stunning and special that they're practically beyond description, the great coffee stops, lunch cafes and dinners. The cool hotels, perfect weather, sunshine with no rain and an amazing mix of fellow travellers to experience it all with and sincere thanks to our gracious hosts for leading us there. This was a stellar experience that will never be forgotten! [Altitudes with Attitude, 2022]. Dave Ingels, Virginia, USA
All your tours are awesome Gary. Steve and Gus lead us brilliantly. This was an awesome trip with a great group of people. Some lovely twisties through the forests and beautiful scenery. As for the accommodation & food… superb. Definitely recommend the Castles & Chateaux Tour with Tour1. [Castles and Chateaux tour, 2022]. Jules Butler-Waddon, Devon, UK
My first time on an organised bike tour, and riding in France. I absolutely loved it. Great bunch of kind likeminded riders, and an incredibly well worked out Tour Plan. The brilliant history pamphlet that Gary put together is in my collection of reference Books. So looking forward to next time. Thank you. [D-Day Landings tour, 2022]. David Spear, West Sussex, UK
We really enjoyed the D Day Landings tour. Found it really interesting with just enough time at each place. Great company and really well organised. Great hotel location too. [D-Day Landings tour, 2022]. Dean and Alison Ashman, Wales, UK
A great tour, great riding and great company. Thank you Gary and Elaine for all of your hard work making it another great experience for us all. [D-Day Landings tour, 2022]. Alan and Julie Parry, Shropshire, UK
Hi Gary, I wish to add my thanks for a wonderful tour and meeting new chums. I will be booking with Tour1 again. [D-Day Landings tour, 2022]. Nick Gray, West Midlands, UK.
Thank you again for working hard on these superb adventures. [various tours 2022] Kristy Le, Washington DC, USA
I have never encountered as nice of people that share your tours. This is indicative of your style of leadership and friendly manner. To all your team Gary a big thank you and really looking forward to catching up in 2021. [Adriatic Adventure, 2019]. Colum Molloy, Ireland.
I would certainly give you and your team 5 stars. It was a brilliant tour and very well organised. Steve and Gus did a fantastic job and are really nice guys to meet. The hotels were also great. [Black Forest tour, 2019]. John Brooker, Kent, UK.
Thanks so much for a brilliant tour to Cascais. Great trip and Liz had a great time on her first ever pillion tour. As always great organisation and care in planning and execution making it a great experience with great company. It was great laugh too! [Cascais HOG Rally tour, 2019] Keith Jones, London, UK
We have just returned from The Adriatic Tour with Tour 1 and was so impressed with the organisation and attention to detail of all aspects - routes, hotels and places of interest. Clearly a lot of research and planning was the basis of its success. A lovely touch beforehand was to put all the travellers in touch with each other by Whatsapp so that no-one was a stranger when we finally all met up at the start of the tour. If you are considering a trip like this, you could do no better than go with Tour 1 and Gary France. We look forward to doing more tours with Gary. Thank you so much. {Adriatic Adventure, 2018]. Tony and Penny Pelling, West Sussex, UK.
I can only describe it as the trip of a life time! My husband and I did the 13-day Altitudes with Attitude tour around some of the most spectacular roads in the Alps and Dolomites. From the first moment we engaged with Tour1, Gary made the whole experience effortless. When you’re going on a 2.5k mile road trip you’d normally anticipate some pre-trip nerves on whether you’ve planned the best route, picked the best hotels or forgotten anything. But with Tour1 they had everything under control, all hubby and I had to do was enjoy the ride! We were a group of 18 from all over the world, united by the love for the open road and Harleys, and we all had such fun, lots of giggles and happy memories. Charlie, our lead man and Glen, our back marker made sure we all had the best trip possible too, always there to support, keep us informed of the days’ agenda and make sure we had everything we need. Their recce meant the roads were spectacular, perfectly routed to get the most of all 9 countries we passed. They knew the best coffee stops, view points and places to see. I will never forget the trip, we made life time friends and saw Europe in a totally new light. No rock was unturned in their planning and it lead to the ultimate holiday for us. I highly recommend both this trip and anything with Tour1, they have this Harley-Davidson touring holiday business nailed! I’d ride with them again for sure, and hope I will! [Altitudes with Attitudes, 2018]. Vanessa and Alex Ruck, Oxfordshire, UK
Tour1 is a well oiled organisation, the Tour1 team cover any question you could possibly think of. They make the entire process easy! From deciding to book the tour, all your preparation planning is made easy with step by step emails on what you need to do, what you need to bring etc. This tour GUARANTEES you the most spectacular roads, the most spectacular views, where you will loose count how many times you say WOW! And just when you thought nothing could beat what you just saw, there is another WOW! The group we rode with on this tour has been a privilege to ride with - without you realising, they have become family before our very eyes. It made the the end of the tour hard, however goodbyes were soon omitted with plans of a reunion tour, and new found friendships formed. To add to all of this wonder, it would be a thoroughly incomplete review without mention of the wonderfully charismatic charm of our Tour 1 leader Charlie. His personality is infectious to the point where I believe he is undoubtedly the most adopted son / friend in the world. Charlie, thank you so much for making this tour a memory that Steve and I shall never in our lifetime ever forget! Tour1 - WE WILL RIDE AGAIN. [Altitudes with Attitudes, 2018]. Rach & Steve, New Zealand.
We just returned from the most INCREDIBLE trip! A trip of a lifetime! It was 12 days of seeing the most spectacular scenery, learning different cultures and spending time with new friends that were from all over the world! Charlie, our tour guide was AWESOME! He took care of all of us and always had a smile on his face! He was such a joy to spend time with! And Glenn, our “back marker” kept us safe and went beyond the call of duty. This was a trip that we will never forget and lots of memories were made! We will definitely ride with Tour 1 again! [Altitudes with Attitudes, 2018]. Daniel and Angel Bobo, Georgia, USA
What an amazing and unforgettable trip. Just returned from the Harley 115 Year Anniversary Tour1 ride to Prague with fantastic guide Gary France and a great and friendly group of people. The tour and rides were first class, good attention to safety. The routes took us through some amazing scenery. Good food and nice accommodation along the way. This was a lot of fun and I would recommend highly. Five stars. [H-D 115th Anniversary Rally, Prague, 2018]. Mario Cilla, London, UK
Just got home to Alaska after riding on the Tour 1 ride to Prague for the 115 H-D Anniversary. Doing a tour in Europe has been on my bucket list for 20+ years. Now I can take it off with a big smile and huge thanks to the Tour 1 team! The ride was excellent, the roads were challenging, the accommodations and dining were excellent. [H-D 115th Anniversary Rally, Prague, 2018]. Barry Matteson, Alaska, USA
Just back from the WW1 Battlefields Tour 2018, which was nothing short of excellent. The pre-tour information was thorough and useful. The tour was well planned but remained relaxed and flexible. Gary and Elaine did a fantastic job from start to finish. A tour of like minded people, enjoying great ride outs, coffee and lunch breaks and accommodation, against a backdrop of important history which Gary described with passion and great respect. The group dinners were fun and full of banter and great food. 5 Stars for a job well done. I will be back!! [WW1 Battlefields, 2018]. Julian Todd, West Sussex, UK
Superb customer service, excellent tours, terrific value for money. Really, if you want to tour, tour with Tour1. [WW1 Battlefields, 2018]. Bob Thomson, Hertfordshire, UK
Just back from WW1 Battlefields tour. This is the first organised tour I’ve been on and I found it very well organised. Gary is an excellent guide, very informative and helpful. I found the tour a real eye opener about WW1. Everything was very well organised and professional, I would thoroughly recommend this tour. we saw parts of France and Belgium you would not normally see. Last but not least the group were great and we had great fun, great food and accommodation. [WW1 Battlefields, 2018]. David Teft, Lincolnshire, UK
Just returned from the 2018 WW1 Battlefields tour - professional, comprehensive, very informative and moving. Gary and Elaine ensured that we were all looked after and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I would recommend Tour1 to anyone considering a tour of the battlefields, or any of the other tours they offer to be honest! [WW1 Battlefields, 2018]. Steve Austringer, Orkney, UK
It was my second trip with Tour1 but my first big rally and I had the pleasure of being looked after by Charlie and Gary … two “France” for the same price, so a lot of excitement! The roads were just heaven, the group fantastic and the organisation so well thought out that it made the trip a very happy and fulfilled one that I will cherish for a long time. I have already booked the Prague Rally for next year and I am very much looking forward to a new adventure. You guys are just amazing thank you! Just returned from the Thunder in the Deserts tour. It was fantastic. Everyday, gives rise to spectacular scenery, and great roads. Gary is the best tour guide you’ll find, full of information about the areas you visit and stay in. Interesting, historical hotels and restaurants along the way. You’ll visit places you’ve only seen on the silver screen, or that bands have sung about (thinking Route 66 there). Hey! Guess what? In the USA not all the roads are dead straight. [Thunder in the Deserts, 2017]. Mark Luckhurst, London, UK.
We have just got back from the wonderful Thunder in the Deserts Tour. We booked this tour (our 4th with Tour1) in spite of the stopover in Las Vegas - I know some people love it, but it’s just not my kind of place, having previously spent 2 nights there. So this tells you how much we trust Tour1/Gary’s organisation, itinerary planning and tour leading skills. This trip definitely lived up to, even exceeded, our high expectations. The refreshment stops were well timed and hotels good. More importantly Gary took us, via the very best riding roads, to the most amazing and beautiful places in an area of stunning and iconic scenery, and included some quirky, interesting places too. He knew where to stop for the best views (photos). We are so glad we did this tour. We would have missed so much, had we done a similar trip on our own. On top of all this, we got to meet and ride with some lovely people. If you have never been away with Tour1, you are missing a treat. [Thunder in the Deserts tour, 2017]. Bev and John Beechey, Surrey, UK.
Definitely one for the bucket list , truly exceptional. [Thunder in the Deserts tour, 2017]. Stella Madden, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
My wife Stella and myself took part in the Tour1 Thunder in the Deserts Tour 2017. Straight off this is a five star plus tour, make no mistake. Pre-tour, Gary kept everyone up to date with an extensive itinerary, including useful information for riding in the USA. Gary’s excellent back up team Mish and Des ensured that the baggage was transported to the hotels securely and on time. Everyone in the tour group gelled right from the beginning and the craic as we say in Ireland, was mighty. On ride days Gary gave a briefing of what was ahead and if a change was needed, e.g. because of time constraints, it was democratically voted on so everyone was kept in the loop. All riding styles were catered for and no one was left disappointed. The tour destinations visited the big ticket items Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Monument Valley, Route 66 etc and we rode on some superb twisty curvy roads. Gary also excelled in taking us to spots which although not as widely known were none the less just as stunning, an absolute gem is Canyonlands National Park not to be missed. The buddy system worked perfectly so rest assured you will not get lost. In summary, this tour is the gold standard of tours, Gary is more than just a tour guide he is an exceptional person in all respects and made the tour feel more like a family group than just individual riders he coalesced us as a group and we were the better for it. [Thunder in the Deserts, 2017]. Paddy Madden, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Just returned from Tour1's first Route 66 / Arizona / Utah tour. I can say that Fiona and I were blown away by the experience, which was also our first Harley tour. Great route, fantastic sites and Gary knew the area really well - 2,500 miles of pure adrenaline riding on some of the best riding roads in the world. PS Route 89A topped R66 for me. [Thunder in the Deserts, 2017]. Graham and Fiona Carter, Hertfordshire, UK.
I recently came back from the WW1 battlefield tour, Despite only being a long weekend tour, it felt so much more with all the sights we got to see and places we went. Everyone on the tour was great company, and despite joining the tour on my own, it quickly felt like we were an old group of mates going on holiday together. Gary and Elaine did a great job of keeping the group together, and pointing out important historic sites that I would surely have ridden straight past had I been on my own. Now I've had a taster of what to expect from Gary and Tour1, I will definitely be back for one of the longer tours. Pete Keany, Oxfordshire.
Just returned from the WW1 Tour with Gary, wow what an amazing adventure, I cannot recommend Tour1 enough, from start to finish the organisation was sublime. If you’re thinking of taking your Harley on a tour, please use Tour1. The tour was so good I have book with them on the next tour of the US. Gary is an amazing leader who was from start to finish so informative about WW1 . Also a big thank you to Elaine Sheppard, our back marker. Can't wait now for September for the big tour. Shaun Slater-Gould, Sussex.
The WWI tour to Belgium and France was beautifully organised and thoroughly researched. Group Leader Gary was very hospitable and generous with his knowledge, time, and mechanical expertise. He planned for every eventuality, could never become unsettled, and he was able to resolve any unforeseen problems. As a weaker rider, I rode with another newby at the back followed up by Elaine, who acted as our shepherd. Both Gary and Elaine were diplomatic and accommodating and they transformed the group of people into a close-knit band of friends experiencing history, moving moments, fun and laughter. I would warmly recommend Tour 1 to all. Eleni, King's Cross London.
I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for the recent WWI Battlefield tour Ross and I recently returned back from. We had the most amazing 4 days, brilliantly researched, excellent hotels and well supported by Gary, and, of course Elaine. We were well looked after from beginning to end and enjoyed every minute. I now have the HOG bug and can’t wait for Ross to organise our next trip. Our group of fellow adventurers were all very warm and welcoming and made the trip even better. Carolyn and Ross Pym, Warwickshire.
Steve, Cindy, Dick, Kay and I recently reviewed all of our pictures from the tour. OMG!!!!! We are still pinching ourselves and trying to convince each other that we really did do this! All of our emotions came back in detail and we laughed and marveled at the pics and the experiences we had. Here's hoping that our bike paths cross again one day and we can make new memories and deep friendships. [Altitudes with Attitude tour, 2016]. Dan Koster and Kay Lorenz-Love, Colorado, USA.
We wanted to write and let you know how much we so enjoyed your organised tour to the European Bike Week in Faaker See last week. All the information received prior to departing was very helpful and a great build up to finally meeting up for the first time in Folkestone on the Friday. We have not been on many tours to Europe, but this must have been the best ever!! The chosen routes were superb, the hotels and food were excellent and Charlie you got us there all in one piece, together with the back up of Steve and John. Thank you! We had such a good time and so enjoyed the riding every single day. What a great crowd we were with, and I’m sure these new friendships will be long lasting and we hope to plan a get-together sometime. [Faaker See tour, 2016]. Rob and Christine Posselt, Worcester.
The Altitudes with Attitudes Tour was so much more than you could ever imagine - truly the trip of a lifetime! Gary is an incredible tour leader and person and his son Charlie is just as dynamic as his pop and a great asset to the trip. Made a lot of new friends - everyone was warm, friendly and a pleasure to spend 2 weeks with. The hotels and especially the castles we stayed in were awesome as well. This trip will be talked about for many years and until we take the next one - hopefully with Gary! Thank you for the most amazing experience ever!!! [Altitudes with Attitudes tour, 2016]. Stephanie Altieri and Scott Moeschter, Pennsylvania, USA.
Truthfully, very well deserved and hard earned 5 star. I had an absolute pleasure to ride on Altitudes with Attitude tour. Fantastic guide, great people, dream roads with spectacular views. Gary, thank you for unforgettable experience. [Altitudes with Attitude tour, 2016]. Krzysztof Sobierajski, Surrey, UK.
The Tour 1 trip to Harley rally in Portoroz was awesome. Great riding courtesy of the genius Gary France at finding the roads - great company and the best rally I have attended. See you all next year! [Portoroz, Slovenia tour, 2016]. Simon Turner, Newmarket.
Suzy and I would like to say how much we enjoyed the 'Tour of Ireland 2016'. This was our first organised tour, and Suzy chose to ride rather than pillion. When we looked into it I have to admit I found it hard to choose whom to 'go' with but after a chat with Gary the decision was made. I am pleased to reassure anyone in a similar position that Tour 1 more than exceeded our hopes and expectations. The choice of route, knowledge and hotels were second to none. Gary is a very friendly guy who immediately put us at ease, and ensured everyone enjoyed themselves, we certainly had a tour to remember. Well done Gary, hopefully we will join you again soon. [Tour of Ireland, 2016]. Clive Taylor & Suzy, Chelmsford
Thank you Gary, a really well organised trip, excellent roads, hotels, coffee/lunch breaks and above all a brilliant history lesson about WW1. Excellent timing for the 100yrs anniversary for the battle of the Somme too. A fantastic opportunity to ride with other ladies, new friends made, a great group with lots of fun and laughter with many memories to treasure. [Ladies WW1 Battlefield tour, 2016]. Cathy Dawe, Sussex.
The Ladies Battlefield tour in France/Belgium was amazing. Gary and Elaine looked after a small group of lady riders, taking us on wonderful riding roads. Even though the countryside is stunning now, Gary was able to help us cast our minds back to imagine how bleak the battlefields were, and told us stories of events during the battles. Very emotional trip with time to reflect whilst riding the open roads. The weather was amazing blue skies and sunshine, with fabulous hotels in Ypres and Albert. It was so lovely spending time with friends new and old, sharing a common interest in riding Harley's. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to go on another Tour1 trip with Gary. Incredible knowledge of roads, locations and events. Able to keep our attention even after lunch lol. I smiled throughout the whole trip, especially on the back roads. Loved every minute. Thank you. [Ladies WW1 Battlefield tour, 2016]. Debbie Atterton. Bristol.
First tour ever for me and what a great choice I made! The long weekend excelled my expectations and I am still smiling thinking about it. The Tour was so well organised I felt safe with Gary’s guidance at the front and reassuring presence of Elaine at the back of the ride, going trough some amazing roads and landscape. Gary was so knowledgeable about the history, with fascinating facts and sometimes fuelled with some emotional moments. I also met some incredible women and I will treasure these few days for a long time. I would recommend Tour1 to anybody and I just can’t wait to book the next one soon. Thank you … Merci beaucoup. [Ladies WW1 Battlefield Tour, 2016]. Cathy Robert, London.
Can I just say a huge thank you for all your efforts in organising out trip to Faaker See. I am struggling to find a word more appropriate than brilliant but it describes it perfectly. We had the time of our lives. It was that good. Paul and Charlie were tremendous, at all times, in every thing they did. The roads, the views, the hotels, the organisation, the craic and the company, all were first class. Two weeks later and I am still grinning. Thank you. [Faaker See 2015]. John Moran, London.
Angela and I want to thank you for a wonderful trip to Faaker See with Tour 1, led by Charlie and Paul. The planning and research you put in, both prior to the tour and during it, were incredibly thorough and helpful and gave us lots of confidence. Paul was great value, very reassuring, and we really enjoyed his company. Charlie really did the business and was absolutely brilliant, great fun and we would love to ride with him again. We are hoping that we can do another trip with you one day. [Faaker See 2015]. Dave & Angela Hogg, London
The Tour 1 trip to Faaker See was brilliant! Jan and I really enjoyed the whole time even the detours! Paul and Charlie made an excellent combination as tour leaders. The whole group got on well and we had great fun. The rides were just magnificent. The hotels very good and well chosen. The only negative...my head after our last night at the Rally and Villach. We can't wait to do another Tour 1 trip. [Faaker See 2015]. Grant and Jan Smith, Surrey.
Both Joanna & I wanted to thank you for what I would say was one of the best, if not the best organised ride We have ever done! From your choice of routes, war sites, eats, and hotel locations. Your explanations of happened in the Great War were clear & precise. We look forward to riding with you again [WW1 2015]. Bob and Joanna Jackson, Hertfordshire
Wow, what an amazing 4 days away with Tour 1's WW1 Battlefields tour. Highlights included the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Vimy Ridge memorial, trenches, large shell holes, Tyne Cot cemetery, glorious riding roads, meeting a great bunch of people and learning so much. It was at times very moving, the riding was exhilarating and we had loads of laughs. Thank you Gary for all the planning and leading us and Elaine Shepherd for back marking and everyone for being such good company. Bev Beechey, Surrey
Hi Gary, thanks for a brilliant weekend on the TOUR 1 - WWI Battlefield Tour. Had a great time, due to the huge effort you put into it's preparation. Can't recommend it highly enough to any future TOUR 1 clientele. Thanks also to Elaine for the unsung hero position of 'last man', you both did a brilliant job. Steve Graham, London
The Croatia tour was excellent, brilliant organisation, awesome roads, first class hotels, great food and fantastic company. Looking forward to Jerez. [Croatia 2014]. John Williams, Bedfordshire.
Great tour to the Harley Rally in Croatia with Tour1 in 2014. Great times and great people. Paul Leeson, Tunbridge Wells.
I have travelled all over the USA to different festivals/ rallies (Sturgis, Daytona, Laconia, Myrtle Beach and Friday 13th in Canada) but I have to say this one to Faaker See was very special and surpassed every rally I have gone to. The reason is simple - Gary is a fantastic Leader, Organiser and great fun to be around. The routes and scenery were spectacular. An Enormous THANK YOU. [Faaker See 2014]. Colum Molloy, Ireland.
This is the perfect way to tour on a motorcycle, Gary is an excellent group leader that thinks of everything and everyone. If you want to tour on your bike than this is the hassle free way of doing so because all the routes, hotels and even fuel stops are planned, and riders of all capabilities are catered for. [Faaker See 2014]. Tom Quinlan, Ireland.
Cant speak highly enough of these tours. Exceptionally well organised. Accommodation was great, roads were excellent . Can't wait for the next Spain tour. Keep up the good work. [Croatia 2014]. Dean Ashman and Ally Banister, Powys, Wales.
Gary was a very thoughtful and knowledgeable tour leader and the daily itinerary was very well planned. We were able to ride some terrific roads and the highlight was the ride over the 'Grossglockner Alpine' pass. I had never ridden with a group until this trip and I was coached all the way by Paul Lusty. I would, without hesitation, recommend Tour 1 to all and sundry. Thank you for all the great memories. [Croatia 2014]. Chris Campbell, Kent.
Brilliantly organized tours. From the hotels, routes chosen, restaurants, points of interest, and getting my bike home. It was a blast, can’t fault. Dean Collins, Rutland.
I thoroughly enjoyed the company, found the hotels first class and the riding exhilarating. I have already recommended Tour1 to the members of my club. Thank you Gary for a memorable trip and for organising it so efficiently. [Croatia 2014]. Don Gillanders, Cheltenham.
Gary is a gentleman and a pleasure to travel with. Anyone considering a motorbike trip with Gary should do so. He has a true passion for motorcycling and will inspire and help anyone who wants to push their boundaries for a truly unforgettable experience. Mick and Nicky Newstead, Chelsea and Fulham Chapter, London.
The route Gary planned over the Alps and into Italy was comprised of the best roads I had ever ridden and that remains the case. I can’t imagine a biker better qualified to arrange spectacular road trips in Europe than Gary France. Ian McIntosh, London.
Having ridden with Gary on a couple of occasions, I can happily say he finds great roads to ride that I would not have found myself. Peter Owen, Derby, UK.
